The ammo crate, assembled

The poster side

The full mail identity
QuakeCon is an actual event that happens every year in Texas. It's a computer and video gaming convention centered around id Software's immenseley popular Quake series, and other games derived from the Quake series of graphics engines.
It just so happens that I play Quake 3 Arena (now well outdated—what can I say, I'm old school), so I decided to focus the design of this event mailer project around visuals from Q3A (actual in-game screenshots as well as more thematic elements) and the admittedly catchy tagline: "four days of peace, love, and rockets."
The piece is two-sided and folds out into a poster on one side. The other side is arranged to reveal information in order as the recipient unfolds it.
There's also a registration card, cut-and-fold ammo crate, and 4 promotional postcards.
