This Arts & Humanities event poster project was restricted to typography (no images). The focus for me was to illustrate the emotion and tone of the speech through variations in typographic style.

After floundering around with cramming text into a bowling ball shape and other bright ideas (not shown of course), I was encouraged to start over, which I did. The new color palette and huge script letters in the background finally gave me the atmosphere I was looking for. Many iterations followed. One prevailed. Or something.

I think my favorite part of this project is the font I used for the word "Dude."
